The Diaries is a visual memoir that was produced during the last days of 2020. Romanticising a turbulent year, every photograph was taken based on the senses, of touch and sound. Afterwards, photographs became canvases for words with every picture igniting a small text about the lessons and truths revealed during the year 2020.
∽ Grace is about being gentle; with our thoughts, our aspirations and with the people around us.
Re-establishing a long waited relationship with the fragile parts of ourselves is a practise to start flowing gracefully.
∽ Echo is about the sound of thoughts. There is an echo for every thought we make, a second nature of it. Trying to silence it would only make it louder.
∽ Still is about the history of a day, of a moment. The thin and gentle passing or movement of time that only nature seems to understand.
∽ Skin is a half written moment; a suspended memory between the familiar and the unknown. To detach from it would mean to feel uncomfortable again.
∽ I am a Tangerine is a thought about reinventing ourselves as an act of kindness, bravery and resilience.But first it inherits the act of seeing, understanding and acknowledging who we already are.
∽ Leaf describes a precious balance; between what was, what is and what will be. A small movement would break it. Staying still to the present is the only way to keep it safe.
∽ Flower Ache is about everything that keeps hiding, when it desperately needs to be revealed.

I am a photographic artist working mainly with self portraits and still life as a way of exploring issues of identity, existence and the wide world of connection.
My work revolves around notions of the mundane and the everyday. Since the very early days of my photographic journey I was intrigued by the way we experience the world both inwards and outwards in our daily lives, and what these experiences might mean for our identity.
I am working around the concepts of Existence, Identity, Life and Birth as beginnings, connections with our inner self, and as bonds with our inherent truths; as well as with concepts such as fragility, sensitivity and similar sensations.
By performing in front of the camera, I am both composing unique moments of symbolic acts and opening a direct conversation between myself and the audience.
